Hello!
My name is
Primrose
Primrose is about 4 years old, and her journey to trust has been a long one.
She was found outdoors with a litter of kittens by another rescue. After her babies were weaned, she was considered too feral and was scheduled for euthanasia. Thankfully, the veterinary staff saw something special in her and reached out to Alaska's Forgotten Felines instead.
When Primrose first arrived, she was scared and unsure of people. She spent months in a kennel while volunteers patiently worked with her, giving her the time and space she needed to feel safe. Slowly, she began to trust—and once she did, her sweet personality started to shine.
Today, Primrose is a completely different cat. She loves being petted and rewards affection with loud purrs, happy kneading, and even a little drool of contentment. Instead of meowing, she greets us with adorable chirps and trills. She has gone from living in a cage to enjoying her own room, where her playful and loving nature continues to blossom.
Primrose will likely need a week or two to adjust in a new home and may spend some time hiding while she settles in. She'll need a patient adopter willing to let her move at her own pace—but we promise she's worth the wait.
She prefers to be the only cat and would do best in a quiet home without dogs or young children. Primrose would be a wonderful companion for a single person or a couple looking for a gentle, loving friend.
